The vivid green of the Peridot, with just a slight hint of gold, is the ideal gemstone colour to go with that light summer wardrobe. No wonder – since the Peridot is the gemstone of the summer month of August. The ancient Romans too were fond of this gemstone and esteemed its radiant green shine, which does not change even in artificial light. For that reason they nicknamed it the 'emerald of the evening'. Peridot is also found in Europe in medieval churches, where it adorns many a treasure, for example one of the shrines in Cologne Cathedral.

Frequently Asked Questions...
Who had the first and most advanced civilization.?
All the archaeologists, and scientists, believe India was the first and most advanced civilization. There is an ancient city under the sea in North West of India, and it is believed to be the most ancient city in the world, constructed entirely of, Gold, Crystal, and Silver. There is a video on you tube about it, It is called DWARKA. Ancient India goes so far back people don't know when it started. Everyone can determine when the sumerians, Egyptians, and romans were around, there is not 1 definitive answer on Ancient India. It surely is the most advanced.
Answer:
Well, it was obviously not advanced enough to last very long. Therefore it is just another "Atlantis".
The Egyptians of course had ONE of the Earliest, and made many advances in technology. As well as culture. And they were also the first to have writing survive throughout the entire empire, for it's entire run.
I agree that India has always been advanced, and on the edge. But I cannot agree that it was more advanced, having not lasted long.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On a Side note: I do believe that the Peoples of India are the ones to have migrated through the Middle East into Europe.
As I believe the Persians first came from India. And their Culture, and advances moved West through the Levant, Greece, and eventually into Rome, and Carthage.
I am a believer of the "Out of India" theory. But not that man came from India first, but that "modern, Western" society came out of India.
