1852 Large Cent
Now as I regain my psychological composure, if I ever had one, I wish to say that I by no means lost the will to collect coins. And as I got sufficiently old to work full time, and reside alone I started and built a fairly large coin collection. I did not have a lot money as I by no means went to college or commerce school, and I've always had a job working as a laborer, so I had to tremendous ways that I may build up my coin assortment cheaply.
One day, I was trying at the back of a Coin accumulating magazine that I had purchased at a neighborhood information stand, and I found an advert where you may join a coin collecting approval service. They would ship you sure cash once a month, and you possibly can select the ones you needed to buy and preserve, and in case you did not want all of them, simply mail the others again to them, and the following month they'd ship another coins for you to examine. What made this program higher than the other approval providers I had usually seen was, you may tell them what sort of coins you were focused on, and what worth you have been keen to spend monthly. I chosen miscellaneous U.S. coins, all the things from outdated giant cents from the 1800's to silver mercury dimes and buffalo nickels etc. And I chose to solely spend $20 a month, for me this was excellent and for a few 12 months or extra I stayed in the program and over time I acquired a pleasant bunch of cash from them, then something happened and the company folded or went out of business, as I by no means acquired any more coins from them and I not noticed their ad within the magazines.
Overtime I found other cheap strategies to aquire some nice coins, one of the strategies I nonetheless use, is one thing that anybody can do to begin building a nice coin collection. Simply start looking and examining your pocket change, I still find wheat pennies and silver war nickels, and lots of pre 1960 nickels, and typically a silver coin in pocket change. One time about [two] years back, I was at an area retailer and obtained some change again, I seen [two] of the quarters I received seemed kinda white in shade, examining them carefully after I acquired again residence, I discovered they were both pre 1964 silver Washington quarters. I figured any person must of needed money to purchase some cigarettes or milk or one thing, and must of used a few of their old cash, I used to be simply fortunate enough to had been there at the proper time and place to get them in my change.
One place to search out lots of nice cash is to go to totally different banks and buy rolls, search through them fastidiously, and you'll be shocked of the neat finds you may come throughout, plus just add a couple of out of your pocket change to interchange those you wish to hold from the rolls, and you may turn them again into a unique bank for some totally different rolls of cash to go looking through. Another place that's pretty good for finding some uncommon coins is at native flea markets, watch out though as lots of the of us at these locations are very aware of a cash value, and they usually ask for rather more then what the cash are worth. Read up on the coins you are interested in buying, or higher yet, take alongside a pocket coin value guide with you when you go to purchase cash, it's better to be thrifty then foolish.
Anyway, now after accumulating coins for fun over the years, I have almost every Lincoln cent that was made out of 1909 as much as current, and I've every Jefferson nickel from the primary one that was made in 1938 to current, and I have a nice sized picket chest stuffed with miscellaneous U.S. cash, together with silver [dollars], mercury dimes, buffalo nickels, Large Cents and many more distinctive and rare coins. I determine the coins will make a pleasant gift sometime, something to depart to my daughter and her kids, and possibly I can spark that fireplace in them, that my dad started in me, the enjoyment of coin collecting. So start checking your pocket change at the moment, you just by no means know what uncommon finds you might come across.

Answer:
If you were looking to sell to a dealer...
1943 war nickel. Depending on condition and mint, between $2 and $10.
1961 proof cent. About $6
1889 Indian head. About $6
1964 proof nickle. A couple of bucks at the most
1860 pointed bust Indian head. Figure about $50
1883 Nickle. Again, depending on condition, $9-$50
1948 s full step nickle. $4-$35
1899 Indian Head penny fine. $1.50
20 silver quarters ranging in years ranging from 1940-1964. All in very fine condition. Silver value only. Right now, that's about $6.40 each
1937 buffalo nickle. Depends on condition and mint. Somewhere in the $1-$10 range
1943 proof steel penny. No proofs were made. If it's got "mirror-like" surfaces, it's probably been "reprocessed" (recoated with zinc). Maybe a buck.
Two 1943 Liberty half dollars. Again, silver value if they have any wear. Around $12.75 each
1926 quarter. Once again, it depends on condition and mint. Somewhere between $6 and $50
1909 vdb penny. $6-$8 if it's from Philadelphia.
